Who we are
This website is run by McMoo’s Ice Cream Parlour, Desserts & Café, 13 Hope Street, Bo’ness EH51 0AA. If you have a question about your personal data, email yum@mcmoos.co.uk or call 01506 828983.
What we collect
We only collect personal information when you give it to us. That means:
- Private hire enquiries. When you use the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, phone number, and any event details you choose to include.
- Emails and calls. If you contact us directly, we keep your message so we can reply.
Online orders are taken by our ordering partner, Hungrrr, not through this website. Hungrrr handles your order and payment details under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you book, to organise your event. Our legal basis is that you’ve asked us to get back to you (legitimate interests), or that we’re taking steps towards a booking you’ve requested.
We never sell your details, and we don’t use them for marketing unless you’ve asked us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months, or longer if you make a booking and we need the details for our records.
Who we share it with
We don’t share your information with anyone else, except the companies that run this website and our email (our web host and email provider), who only process it on our behalf.
Cookies
See our cookie policy for the cookies this site uses and how to change your choice.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email yum@mcmoos.co.uk.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
