McMoo’s is more than an ice cream parlour. It’s a community haven. From artisanal gelato and gluten-free bakes to puppuccinos and dog-friendly treats, Becky made sure everyone felt welcome. She was extremely loyal to her suppliers, dedicated to using fresh ingredients and passionate about showcasing local talent.

But what truly makes McMoo’s special was Becky’s commitment to community. She supported the Bo’ness Fair Day, created themed sundaes for local initiatives like the Polar Academy and participated in events like the Hippodrome’s HIPP Silent Film Festival.

At Christmas, she even included books from local authors as Santa’s gifts to children. She also supported Keeping Bo’ness Bloomin’ as she cared not just about her own business, but the town it existed within.

Becky’s creativity knew no bounds. From “Natter with a Platter” events to superhero and princess breakfasts, Breakfasts with Santa, and most recently the “Chubby Moo” event with The Chubby Hubby – she was always coming up with new ways to bring something unique to Bo’ness. That final event, planned before her passing, went ahead in her honour. It’s what she would have wanted.

She welcomed everyone, including groups like the Bo’ness Friendship Group. Her team – many of whom she’d known since their school days – stayed with her through university and beyond. The outpouring of love following her passing reflects just how deeply she touched the lives of those around her and their families.
